John Cahoon
Talent and Leadership:
Cahoon
Construction Company
John Cahoon founded the company as a continuation of a family owned private
contactor business. Cahoon is well known throughout Upstate New York as a proven
leader in the small to medium contract market.
As a project manager, John Cahoon will leverage his years of learning the latest
construction techniques and technologies in the construction industry. He
has already overseen building projects and large, multi-project programs and
supervised these accounts. Prior to founding Cahoon, John has served as an
highly successful independent contractor.
A New York State General Contractor and licensed contractor in the State of
Louisiana, John Cahoon has been involved
in all aspects of the industry including marketing, business development,
estimating and project management. In his new role as President and Owner of
Cahoon Construction, he will lead the Cahoon team of construction
professionals. He also will be working to expand Cahoon’s presence in the
commercial reconstruction and disaster relief market, including the Gulf Coast
States project base.
"I'm thrilled John has taken the leadership of our team. He adds significant
talent and a fresh perspective to our companies' overall strategy,” commented
John Cahoon Sr., Chief Operations Officer of Cahoon Construction. “John has
shown consistently throughout his career that he knows how to build long lasting
client relationships. His expertise and relationships in the Upstate
Construction Market will enable us to expand significantly our market share in
this vital sector.”
Prior to his tenure as a Cahoon Construction Employee, John Cahoon was an
apprentice for his father, on all the soup to nuts jobs he could get his hands
on. In this capacity he accomplished all the ground up tasks that most kids
have to learn about in a technical school. John has been eating,
breathing and learning the construction business since he was old enough to hold
a hammer.
To
know John is to know his passion for detail, his knowledge and experience,
and his enthusiasm for getting the job done well, done right and done the first
time around.Personal Integrity:
Without
a good reputation, companies have to compete to survive in this business.
In order to compete you have to have integrity, if word
gets around that a contractor has performed expertly on a job site and then people
see Cahoon Construction sign in more development areas. John is committed to
Cahoon's success by
being committed to your success. If you have a business or a home
construction project you need done right, then you can rest in the knowledge
that John is on the job. Because he wont be satisfied until you are
satisfied.
